The perfect recipe for a cold winter’s night or to cook on a campfire! This rich, warming and filling dish is also great for Bonfire Night. You can leave out the meat for a lovely veggie alternative.
Boston Baked Beans

Ingredients
Serves 6
2 cans Branston Baked Beans
1 onion, finely sliced
1/2 can chopped tomatoes
50g soft brown sugar
3 tbsp black treacle
1 tbsp English mustard
1 clove of garlic finely chopped
Salt and pepper
Method
- Pop a large saucepan on the stove with a little oil and warm
- Add the onion and soften, after a couple of minutes turn up the heat and colour slightly.
- Now add in the Baked Beans, chopped tomatoes, brown sugar, black treacle, mustard, garlic and salt and pepper.
- Cook for a further 30 minutes on a low simmer.
- Fantastic served with hot, buttered jacket potatoes.
