Chorizo and Branston Baked Bean Toastie

This is a fantastically easy and extremely tasty recipe using Branston Baked Beans with Spicy Spanish Chorizo. Ready in no time, it’s a great option for any time of day.

Serves: 2

butter for cooking
4 slices good quality white bloomer
1 tbsp cream cheese
4 slices cheddar cheese

And don't forget the special ingredient...
4 tbsp Branston Baked Beans with Spicy Spanish Chorizo

Step 1

Melt a knob of butter in a frying pan and fry two slices of bread until they’re lightly browned, then take them out.

Step 2

Add more butter and fry the next two slices of bread. Turn them over and put 1 slice of cheddar onto each, then spoon half of the cream cheese and the all of the Branston Baked Beans on top of each one.

Step 3

Add another slice of cheese to each and press them down to squash the cream cheese outwards.

Step 4

Add the two first pieces of bread browned side down. Fry the sandwich until the pieces of bread on the base are brown, then add more butter and flip the sandwiches over.

Step 5

Keep frying, pressing down on the bread. Once the bread is browned all over, and the cheese inside looks melted, take the sandwiches out and slice them in half.
