Terms & Conditions –Cawsburger & Branston Beans Competition

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating, all Entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

The “Cawsburger & Branston Beans Competition” competition (the Promotion) is offered by the Promoter, Princes plc of Royal Liver Building, Pier Head, Liverpool, L3 1NX. The Promotion will run between 1st November 2023 at 14.00 and 7th November 2023 at 23:59 on the following Instagram accounts @branstonbeans & @cawsburger Instagram page.

  1. The promotion is open to residents over the age of 18 of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland and Wales). Employees of Princes plc, their immediate families, agencies, associates, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are excluded. Offer excludes residents of Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Isle of Mann and Channel Islands. Access to the internet is required.
  2. Entry Instructions: To enter, Entrants upon visiting the Branston Beans and/or Cawsburger Instagram page https://www.instagram.com/branstonbeans/ or https://www.instagram.com/cawsburger/
  • follow the Branston Beans and Caswburger Instagram account; and
  • like the competition post and tag as many friends in the comments of this post as they like, with each tag counting as an entry. This competition is open to multiple entries per person.
  • The competition will run between 1st November 2023 at 14:00 and 7th November 2023 at 23:59. Entries received after this time will not be valid.
  1. There will be 2 winners, drawn at random by a generator on 9th November 2023.
  2. Prizes: There will be 2 prizes, each prize will include: a £100 voucher to be used at the Cawsburger restaurant within the next 12 months, one voucher per winner.
  3. The selected winners of each available prize will be notified on Instagram via direct message that they have won the prize on 9th November 2023.
  4. All winners must claim their prize by following the instructions in the notification within 28 days of being informed that they have won the competition and provide necessary information to enable the Promoter to award the prize; the Promoter reserves the right to re-award the prize to valid entries in the event of a non-claim without incurring any liability.
  5. The prize will be sent out within 28 days of receipt of the prize claim upon the relevant winner providing their applicable address. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any inaccurate details provided by the relevant winners. The Promoter can provide no assurance the prize will be delivered to the relevant winners within 14 working days.
  6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any incomplete, ineligible entries (which may be disqualified at the Promoter’s discretion) or entries which fail to arrive by the specified closing date. This also includes any entries entered on a 3rd party account who has reposted the original Instagram post.
  7. By entering the promotion, Entrants agree to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of the Promoter that are final in all matters relating to the promotion.
  8. The prize is not negotiable or transferable. There are no cash or other alternatives in whole or in part to the stated prizes and unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control.
  9. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails enquiries@princes.co.uk within one month after the closing date stated in condition 2. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter via email at enquiries@princes.co.uk. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  10. The promoter may refuse to award a prize or withdraw a prize entitlement and disqualify the entrant where there are reasonable grounds to believe that: (i) there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions or any instructions forming part of the entry requirements of the promotion; (ii) an entrant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion; or (iii) an entrant has won using fraudulent means, including but not limited to the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means. The promoter decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  11. Any personal data relating to Entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party (other than the Promoter’s agencies for the purpose of servicing/implementing the promotion and prizes.   12. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, extend or amend the terms of this promotion at any time due to circumstances beyond its control to minimise the effect to Entrants in order to avoid disappointment.
  13. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  14. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of English courts.
